Kestutis Balvocius. After completing his Bachelor studies in Law and Management at Mykolas Romeris University in Lithuania, Kestutis obtained a Masters degree in European Governance at the University of Bristol in the UK. He also studied at Tilburg University in the Netherlands as part of the Erasmus exchange programme. Most recently, he was a trainee in the Unit for Legal Matters in DG Research and Innovation at the European Commission. Kestutis is currently completing his LLM studies at Mykolas Romeris University. His primary research interests lie in EU law, EU foreign policy - in particular regarding Eastern Europe - and EU research and innovation policy. Kestutis speaks English and Russian and is currently learning French.
Simona Butkute is completing her Public administration bachelor in Klaipėda University. She participated in the Erasmus exchange program and studied in Sweden at the Umea University. She is interested in social psychology and quality management. Simona continues learning foreign languages, taking part in nongovernmental organizations, leading public events at leisure time.
Ruta Cinkaite graduated from the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University with a Bachelor`s degree in Business Management and Project Management. She has also studied in France and Spain, and is fluent in four languages, in addition to Lithuanian: English, Russian, French and Spanish. Rūta is currently working in the event organising sector.
Ugne Griniute is in her third year of History of Art Bachelor degree studies at University College London (UCL). Genuine interest in European cultural politics encourages Ugne’s wish to become an active member of an international organisation open to lively discussions and cultural diversity. Immediately after leaving the high school she became an elected member of its Alumni Committee and still puts every effort to promote the development of the association, while in the year 2009 and 2011 Ugne was part of the organisational committee for the first Lithuanian contemporary art fair ARTVILNIUS. Currently Ugne is a translator and a volunteer assistant to the Culture Attaché of Lithuanian Embassy in the UK. In the autumn of 2011, after being awarded with UCL Travel Grant, Ugne is interning with Appetite gallery and preparing the draft of her dissertation in China, Beijing’s 798 Art District.
Valentinas Jankauskas is studying International Relations and Development for a Master`s degree at Aalborg University (Denmark). His specialization is Global Refugee issues. He gained a Bachelor degree studying history at Vilnius University, specializing in Contemporary History. He is fluent in English and Russian languages and is deepening his Danish language knowledge as well. Currently he is doing an internship in the Civil Society Institute. He is especially interested in international relations, history and contemporary political situation of Lithuania, Central and East Europe.
Arnoldas Jokubaitis graduated from the Vilnius University Law Faculty in 2009. At the moment he lives in Vilnius and is working as a jurist for the Vilnius City Municipality. Arnoldas is interested in various themes: philosophy, culture, arts, politics, sports. In the future he hopes to engage in more travel, as well as writing a book. His most valued concept is humanity.
Ada Jonusyte. Ada has studied political science at the Free University Berlin. As the International Parliamentary Scholarship holder was a trainee in the German Bundestag for five months. She undertook an internship at the United Nations Regional Centre for Peace and Disarmament in Asia and the Pacific (UNRCPD) in Kathmandu (Nepal). Since January 2010 Ada is an intern in the European Parliament. The first three months of this period she has spent in the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE). Ada fluently speaks German and English and good French and Russian. She is interested in modern art and loves to read.
Rytis Kevelaitis is an International relations and politics student at The University of Sheffield. Regurlarly organises charity projects for elderly people with public enterprise company Business Lab Center. He speaks English, French and Russian. Rytis appreciates creativity and ability to think critically. Interested in architecture, history and psychology, enjoys travelling and playing tennis.
Silvija Kisinaite. Has bachelor diploma in law and in english philology. Also she has graduated international law master studies during which she spent one semester studying in South Korea and one in Belgium. She wrote master thesis about minors asylum seekers and she would like to work in the field of refugee law in the fututre. She is a stagiair in European Parliament at the moment and seeks to work in any of European institutions or international organisations in the future. She is fluent in English and Russian, and also she is studying French. She believes that dreams come true if You are dreaming and working hard at the same time.

He was the European and Lithuanian business and economics simulation exercise (MESE) champion. Spent the summer of 2007 in New York, USA, improving English language skills. Participated in the 2008 Lithuanian parliamentary election observation project, together with the Belarusian delegation, whose objective was to illustrate to the delegation how democratic elections work. He speaks English, German and Russian. In his free time he enjoys exploring the topic of investment opportunities. He has a Trader-Analyst certificate, demonstrating comprehensive understanding of financial markets. Believes that everyone creates their own life by themselves.
Martynas Kriunas is currently studying economics at the University of Durham. He actively participates in student entrepreneurship societies and represents Durham university in business competition. He would like to work in the finance industry in the future. Martynas is interested in history, politics and economics. He spends leisure travelling and reading books. His favourite sport is skiing.
Loreta Liutkute is currently a volunteer for an association which works to represent the rights of immigrants in Lille, France. Her main duties include advising on legal questions and translating from and to Russian and English. Loreta has also worked for VISA Europe as a jurist dealing with the European Union and has been a trainee at the European Commission (DG Competition). She graduated from the Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius with a degree in Law and Management. She also received Master`s diplomas in EU Law and EU Political Science in Lille. Loreta speaks French, English, Russian and Italian, and is actively interested in geopolitics, modern art, photography and travel.
Kristijonas Lukse is studying international business and marketing at Euromed Management university in Marseille. He was twice a winner of the ERASMUS scholarship. Kristijonas gained his international experience while working in METIZO - a personal development company, also attending NGO FLARE Network activities. During his free-time Kristijonas is improving his English, French and Russian skills, also enjoys contemporary art.
Indre Makaveckaite is a political science student at Vilnius University. As part of the student exchange programme, she is spending this year in Strasbourg, France. She speaks fluent English and French and good Russian. Indrė would like to follow a diplomatic career. She likes to travel, read books, watch films.
Dovydas Matilionis is Master’s degree student in International Security and Law at University of Southern Denmark. In 2009, he gained a Bachelor`s degree in Public Administration at Kaunas University of Technology. Dovydas gained experience in management when working in international business companies in Lithuania. He speaks fluent English. Also, he seeks to expand his knowledge in Russian and German languages and he is planning to study Danish language in the nearest future. He enjoys travelling and doing sports such as basketball, swimming and more.
Paulius Murauskas has finished his Bachelor of Law at Mykolas Romeris University, Vilnius, Lithuania. Before proceeding his pursuit of a master degree Paulius is eager to get some practical experience. This is the very reason why he is executing not only a distant traineeship at the Bureau of MEP Leonidas Donskis, but concurently gaining knowledge at the Lithuanian Centre for Human Rights in Vilnius. Paulius is interested in public international law, human rights and current geopolitical issues. Active leisure activities such as sports, travelling are a huge part of Paulius‘ free time; as well as reading various books. Paulius is fluent in both Lithuanian and English and has the basics of Russian language.
Algirde Pipikaite has gained the Bachelor`s degree in Law and Management at the University of Mykolas Romeris in Lithuania. Now being a Swiss Governmental Scholarship holder studies at the University of Lausanne, LL.M in International and European Bussiness and European Law. Algirdė values public spirit, sociality and diligence. Algirdė is fluent in English, German, Italian and French. In her freetime Algirde enjoys travelling, chess and snowboarding.
Rita Petkute graduated from Mykolas Romeris University and received a bachelor‘s degree in Public Administration. Currently studying in the masters program of EU policy and administration. ERASMUS scholarship winner. Has knowledge of the English and Russian languages.
Rita Ramanauskaite is working at the Lithuanian Permanent Representation to the EU, after having completed a traineeship at the European Commission. She is fluent in English and German and is currently learning French. Rita is interested in German culture and domestic, as well as international, current affairs.
Dovile Sandaraite is studying Law and Management at the Mykolas Romeris University. She participates in the activities of the Lithuanian Lawyers` Association`s Junior Jurist department and is currently Chair of the Mykolas Romeris University Civil Process Research unit. Dovilė presented her thesis in the international "Mokslinės minties šventė" ("Festival of Academic Thought") event. Dovilė`s values are responsibility and dutifulness. She speaks English and Russian. In her free time, she enjoys playing golf and reading books.
Ignas Sidaras completed his Law and management bachelor in Mykolas Romeris University. Studied for a half year in Leicester University (UK) as part of Erasmus programme. Now Ignas studies EU law and governance in joint MRU (Lithuania) and Bordeaux-IV (France) master programme. Ignas is interested in international law as well as issues of protection of human rights. Rasa Simulionyte is studying Economics and Politics at ISM University of Management and Economics in Vilnius. Currently she is also a Bachelor Double Degree student at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo. Rasa has participated in many international conferences and seminars. In addition, she is the Winner of “Civitta” citizenship award for contribution to society and the laureate of “Petras Vileišis name nomination” from Confederation of Lithuanian Industrialists. In 2010 Rasa participated in an international observation mission of Parliamentary elections in Latvia. In order to deepen the knowledge in the sphere of international cooperation, she had an internship in the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Rasa is interested in international politics, diplomacy and economics. She is fluent in Lithuanian, English and Spanish, also, currently learning Norwegian. In her free time Rasa likes to travel and is improving her photography skills.
Svajune Sirvydyte has completed a Master of Law degree at Vilnius University with specialisation in International and European Union Law. In 2012 she has been awarded European Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation after studies in Venice, Italy, and Lisbon, Portugal. As part of the Erasmus exchange programme she has studied in Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Italy. Svajune gives preference to the sphere of human rights and is constantly seeking to improve her knowledge in this sphere. She is also interested in international public law, international security, humanitarian affairs and relates her future to the protection of human rights. In her free time she travels a lot, admires cultures of the world, improves knowledge of languages. Svajune speaks fluent English, good Italian and is improving skills of French and Russian languages.
Aiste Skardziute. Completed her Bachelor studies with honors at Dickinson College in USA, with a double major in International Business and Management, and International Studies, and, a double minor in Economic and German. Aiste obtained a Master’s degree in Public Policy at Hertie School of Governance in Germany. She did summer internships at IBM, UNESCO and most recently Council of Europe Development Bank. Currently she is working at a small consultancy, Atheneum Partners, based in Berlin, Germany. Aiste speaks English and German.
Giedre Skruibyte is currently a first year International Relations student at University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. In addition to her course, she studies an optional module which introduces students to the history, politics and institutions of the European Union. She is also a member of AIESEC Birmingham. Furthermore, she is fluent in English and has been studying Spanish and German. Besides all that, she appreciates creativity and individuality.
Ieva Staliunaite is a student of Vilnius lyceum and a member of the Lithuanian Red Cross Society and the Civil Society Institute - Civitas. She is fluent in English and currently learnig French. In her free time she is singing in a jazz ensemble and attending lectures of finance and economics in the Mykolas Romeris university.
Ilona Zelvyte has graduated from the Vilnius University with a Bachelor degree in Lithuanian philology and Dutch language. In 2008 she has been awarded a European Master’s degree in Human Rights and Democratisation after studies in Italy (Venice) and the Netherlands (Utrecht). Ilona speaks English, Dutch, French and Russian. Currently, she is employed at a communication agency in the framework of EuroparlTV project. In her free time she studies foreign languages, is interested in art, geopolitical issues and traveling.
Irena Zilakauskaite is a graduate from Klaipėda University. She is Chair of the Klaipėda University Political Scientists` Club. Irena is interested in the theme of society, and politics of the Far East. In 2002, she graduated from the Šilutė School of Arts, with a specialty in violin. She is engaged in performing and composing music. In the future, Irena plans to continue her Political Science studies.
