L. Donskis at the End of School Year Celebration in Kupiškis and at the Legendary Gentvilinės in Klaipėda

Leonidas Donskis has spent the green EP week, when there are no meetings either in Brussels or in Strasbourg in Lithuania and has managed to do a lot: to talk to Delfi portal readers in a virtual conference, to present two his books, to meet voters in the North of Lithuania and to take part in the legendary festival of liberals in Klaipėda, called Gentvilinės. EP Plenary Session: Organ Donation Directive, Asylum Policy, Youth Exchange and Human Rights

This week the Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) have gathered to an ordinary plenary session in Strasbourg. Among the topics discussed in this session are donation directive, EU Strategy for Youth, simplification of the common agriculture policy, establishment of a European Asylum Support Office and the upcoming EU accession to the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
