On the last day of January women researchers from various fields, who are members of the European Platform of Women Scientists (EPWS), gathered to the European Parliament in Brussels. The first plenary session of 2012, which took place this week in Strasbourg, was unusual as most of its agenda consisted of elections of a new EP leadership - the new European Parliament President, Vice-Presidents and Quaestors.
